Since 1980's,DAESHIN MELAMINE INDUSTRIAL Co.,Ltd. has produced High Pressure laminated Decorative Sheets/panel (HPL), an environment-friendly material made from thermosetting resin synthesis. In 1990's, the company moved to Incheon, Namdong Industrial Complex, newly equipped with the state of the art facilities, and has concentrated on improving the quality and variety of the products.

A brand of Melapan has expanded its market to abroad, and by 2001, an overseas branch opened in Qingdao region of China, showing a solid growth with a localized production system. Due to the fortified construction law regarding fire safety issues from 2000, the company has actively developed better safety oriented Melapan products, which has higher fireproof and incombustibility.
